## How to read this

Runmeg makes Runmeg. The table says where another tool is the better buy. Prices and features on other products change; this page does not invent a number we have not published ourselves.

## Checked against the job each product is known for, and against Runmeg's own product. We do not invent a competitor's price or a feature we have not described.

| | Best for | Starts from | Invents footage? | Posts for you? |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Captions | Styled captions on a short clip | A clip you already have | No | No |
| Runmeg | A marketing video from a clip you already have | Your footage | No | Never |

## What a week in Captions looks like

You drop in a short clip and leave with a captioned file. The week is editing, not a brand brief. If the line does not need to know the product, you are not missing Runmeg.

## What you give up if you switch

Switching to Runmeg adds memory, a plan you approve, and five reels from one upload. You give up a tool whose whole job is the styled caption. Keep Captions if that is the job.

If you already know the cut and you only want the caption styled, Captions is the closer tool. Runmeg is the wrong buy when you do not want a plan or five reels.

## What a week in Runmeg looks like instead

Runmeg uses the clip and the brand memory. Create returns one video after you approve a plan. ReelGen returns five captioned reels. You download the file and post it yourself.

You download the file and publish it yourself. Nothing in the week posts itself.
