Terms and Conditions
Last updated 3 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of www.runmeg.com (“Meg”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Meg website, accounts, and product (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, clicking to accept, paying for a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Meg.
Questions about these Terms can be sent through our Contact page.
The Service
Meg is software that helps you operate personal branding and product marketing in one place. It may draft content, organise ideas on a calendar, suggest public conversations to join, store preferences and notes you choose to keep, and show performance based on public information you connect. Features may change as we improve the product.
Meg is a tool. It is not a lawyer, accountant, employee, or publisher. Output can be incomplete or wrong. You remain solely responsible for what you review, copy, post, or send, and for complying with the rules of any platform you use.
Meg does not publish to social networks or send messages as you. Anything that leaves Meg for another platform does so because you chose to copy or open it.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use Meg on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company, and “you” includes that company.
You need an account to use most of the Service. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login details confidential. Notify us via Contact if you believe your account has been misused.
You must have the right to provide any brand, product, website, or social profile you connect. Do not connect accounts you do not control.
Your content
You retain ownership of the text, files, URLs, and other material you submit (“Your Content”). You grant Meg a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely as needed to provide and improve the Service for you, including sharing it with the providers listed in our Privacy Policy (Firebase, Dodo Payments, and Apify, as applicable).
You represent that you have all rights needed to grant this licence and that Your Content does not infringe anyone else's rights or any law. We may remove content or suspend an account if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken.
Plans, credits, and payment
We may offer a free Starter experience with a limited credit grant, and paid plans (currently Meg Creator and Meg Operator) billed in US dollars as shown at checkout and on the pricing page. Credits measure use of the Service. They are not cash, have no independent value, and are not transferable between accounts.
Paid plans are processed by Dodo Payments. By starting checkout you also agree to complete payment with Dodo and to Dodo's applicable terms. We receive confirmation of your plan and related billing status; Dodo handles the payment instrument.
Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancel before the next renewal if you do not want to be charged again. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable once a billing period or credits have been granted. Closing your Meg account does not by itself cancel a Dodo subscription; you must cancel that subscription as well.
Prices and credit allowances may change. We will not change the price of a period you have already paid for. We may refuse or reverse transactions we reasonably believe are fraudulent or in error.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Meg for unlawful, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative content
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- spam, scrape in violation of a platform's rules, or interfere with others' use of Meg
- probe, overload, or attempt to break the security of the Service or our providers
- resell, lease, or publicly share your login as a service to others
- reverse engineer the Service except where that restriction is not allowed by law
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users or our providers, or failed to pay amounts due.
Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including Firebase for accounts and data hosting, Dodo Payments for billing, and Apify for collecting certain public information you request. Outages, rule changes, or limits on those services are outside our control. Links to third-party sites (including checkout and social networks) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Intellectual property
Meg, the website, the product design, and related trademarks and software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service during the term of your account, solely in accordance with these Terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that drafts will achieve any result, that analytics will be complete, that conversation suggestions will be relevant, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meg and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost posts, or platform penalties, even if we were advised they were possible.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for Meg in the three months before the claim arose, or fifty US dollars (USD $50) if you have not paid us in that period.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Meg and its operators against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your posts on third-party platforms, or your violation of these Terms or of anyone else's rights.
Termination
You may stop using Meg at any time and may request account closure through Contact. We may suspend or end the Service or your account with notice where practical, and immediately where we reasonably believe there is risk, illegality, or non-payment. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, payment already due, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.
Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will update the date at the top. If you continue to use Meg after the change, you accept the new Terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the Service and may request that we close your account.
General
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any forum to protect the Service or our intellectual property.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or sale. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and replace prior discussions on that subject.
